How I can Help?

Nutrition Consultations

A typical consultation includes analysis of the following: signs/symptoms, clinic questionnaire, blood test results and diet diary. I will then prepare a tailored diet and lifestyle plan to suit you.

This can take 1 to 1.5 hours, during which a detailed case history is taken. This covers all aspects of your lifestyle, diet, medical history etc. Best results are achieved when a progra is followed for at least 2 months but in some cases nutritional therapy will take longer. This is because we do not just treat the symptoms but endeavour to get to the source of the problem. This consultation may also include a heart screening. Bringing along a copy of a recent blood test is recommended.

I offer specific consultations on Weight Loss, Type 2 Diabetes, PCOS and Heart Health.

I also offer general consultations on health topics such as blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, digestive and bowel disorders, hormonal imbalances, fatigue, depression, anxiety stress-related disorders, auto-immune conditions, joint and skin problems and fertility. Contact me to find out more…

Your Blood Test Explained

This is a unique service, usually via the phone or Zoom. Your routine blood test holds a lot of information on your health. As a nutritional therapist I am trained to look at trends, specific ratios, in addition to specific levels of disease markers in your blood test. This analysis can be hugely beneficial in looking at the bigger picture of your health and in particular in early detection and prevention. Blood test results are sent in advance and then a call is arranged. Find out more…

Laboratory Testing

Usually as part of a consultation, and in order to determine underlying imbalances and to aid in developing an individualised plan it is sometimes necessary to avail of specific tests, these may include blood tests from your GP, stool testing, hormone testing and DNA testing.  Details available on request.

Heart PulseWave Screening

Do you have an issue with cholesterol, blood pressure, angina, fatigue, chest pain, poor circulation or diabetes? Is there a family history of heart disease? Would you like to know how healthy your arteries are for your age?

This is a specialist service providing you with a concise picture of your cardiovascular health with a view to preventing a heart attack through the analysis of risk factors and raising awareness.

This consultation measures 5 major risk factors including arterial stiffness, and Central Aortic blood pressure, (an independent and strong risk factor for stroke and heart attack).

A detailed nutritional, dietary and lifestyle assessment is carried out, and a personalised program is designed to enhance your cardiovascular health with particular emphasis on the normalization of blood pressure, reductions in cholesterol levels and other criteria including weight loss, fat distribution, and fitness levels, where necessary.
