Common Health Issues
Do you suffer from any of the following health concerns? You could benefit from nutritional therapy:
- Digestive and bowel disorders
- hormonal imbalances
- mental health issues
- high blood pressure
- elevated cholesterol
- cardiovascular health
- weight problems
- inflammatory conditions
- joint/muscle issues
- stress-related disorders
- auto-immune conditions
- skin problems
A typical consultation includes analysis of the following: signs/symptoms, clinic questionnaire, blood test results and diet diary, and then a presentation of diet and lifestyle plan to suit the individual.
This can take 1 to 1.5 hours, during which a detailed case history is taken. This covers all aspects of your lifestyle, diet, medical history etc. Best results are achieved when a program is followed for at least 2 months but in some cases nutritional therapy will take longer. This is because I do not just treat the symptoms but endeavour to get to the source of the problem. Bringing along a copy of a recent blood test is recommended.
I run a number of workshops with no more than 10 people, based around a number of topics.

Your Blood Test Explained
This is a unique service, usually via the phone or Zoom. Your routine blood test holds a lot of information on your health. As a nutritional therapist I am trained to look at trends, specific ratios, in addition to specific levels of disease markers in your blood test. This analysis can be hugely beneficial in looking at the bigger picture of your health and in particular in early detection and prevention. Blood test results are sent in advance and then a call is arranged. Find out more…
Usually as part of a consultation, and in order to determine underlying imbalances and to aid in developing an individualised plan it is sometimes necessary to avail of specific tests, these may include blood tests from your GP, stool testing, hormone testing and DNA testing. Details available on request.
Cardio PulseWave Screening
This is a specialist service providing you with a concise picture of your cardiovascular health with a view to preventing a cardiovascular event through the analysis of risk factors and raising awareness.
This consultation uses a Cardio-Scope which is a certified non-invasive medical device that uniquely measures arterial stiffness and central aortic blood pressure. These are independent risk factors for cardiac events.
A detailed nutritional, dietary and lifestyle assessment is carried out, and a personalised program is designed to enhance your cardiovascular health with particular emphasis on the normalization of blood pressure, reductions in cholesterol levels and other criteria including weight loss, fat distribution, and fitness levels where necessary.
